But that’s a no, NO. Gue ngerasain banget kalo baju tropis berlapis-lapis kalah nyaman sama baju dingin import dengan sedikit layer tapi kualitasnya oke (contoh, padded coat berlapiskan bulu angsa). Dikit tips, kalo merasa kemahalan beli baju musim dingin kaya’ gini, bisa beli yang second, asalkan pinter pilih-pilih biar ga terlalu kelihatan lusuhnya. :p
  1. Hot pack
It’s susch a Korea Invation.

Pelembab jangan sampai terlupakan!

1.     Tongin Market in Seoul (Oiled Tteok-bokki/
Tongin Market is a traditional market in Tongin-dong, Seoul. This market has its own currency which is Yeopjeon (Korean brass coin with a square cut out used during Joseon Dynasty) and you can exchange KRW with Yeopjeon in the market and use it as cash. I am sure you already know what Tteok-bokki is but you may not have heard of Oil Tteok-bokki which is a street food that represents Tongin Market. Imagine the deep fried Tteok-bokki with sweet and spicy sauce!

2.     Bupyeong Kkangtong Market in Busan (Hotteok filled with seeds/
If you are a street food lover I highly recommend you to go to Bupyeong KKangtong Market because there is everything you are looking for. As soon as entering the market, you can smell all kinds of food that are good enough to convince people to open their wallet! One of the most beloved street food in Korea is, without doubt, Hotteok. However, Hotteok in Busan is a little bit special from others. Usually, Hotteok is filled with honey sauce but this beast-looking Hotteok in Busan is fully filled with various kinds of seeds that make it tastier and more crunch inside

3.     Seomun Market in Daegu (Meat-Jeon/ 육전)
Are you a fan of Korean pancakes? You like Korean street food but you are looking for something more out of it? You are welcome to Seomun Market in Daegu to try crazy street food experience. This market has almost a hundred of food trucks in rows throughout Seomun Market. The food WOWKOREA wants to recommend from the market is a Korean pancake called Meat jeon(육전). This newly famous collaboration between meat and Korean pancake turned out really amazing that the number of people who are going out to have this street food is skyrocketing.

They said that first time is always a memorable for last. This is happening to me during my first Korea Trip on Autumn 2015. It became more special because I’ve never been in autumn season before. So, I specially take this vacation because I want to witness the wonderful autumn by the colorful plants.
There’re a lot of interesting experience I had on my travel in Korea in Autumn season. I’m so glad to have this chance, visiting many places, seeing new scenery. But, here are some of recommendation place to witnessing the colorful Autumn in Korea.

  1. Traditional building at Buckchon Hanok Village.
You should never missed to see the traditional building, because it gives special and different vibe that you won’t find in other place. On autumn, the environment will be more dramatics. At that time, I go to Bukchon Hanok Village to see authentic traditional building, and surprised with plants that already change into ‘shepia’ mode, when most of the leaves turning brown. Enjoy your pleasuring time there, and immerse with the authentic environment, where you can’t find in another place besides Korea itself.
I think, visiting palace also can be another nice choice. Unfortunately I haven’t do that back then. I hope there will be a chance for me, and I’m waiting for that excitedly.
  1. Nature at Nami Island.
This is the place that you should never missed to visit! Though autumn is the time when the plants turns weak by the lower temperature, but it’s a perfect chance to see so many colors of leave from the trees that preparing their-self to face those extreme weather. We also can see so many colors of autumn in here, Red leaves from maple trees, Yellow leaves from Ginko tree, and also light green to brown leaves from other trees. Most of those trees are placed in groups, so you should walk around the island to enjoy every different autmn scenery.
As an addition, you can also visit Namsan / N Seoul Tower to see natural autumn scenery, if you don’t have much time to going outside Seoul.

  1. Campus at Ewha Womans University.
Idk why, I have an interest to did campus touring during my travel. So that, I won’t missed to visit one of campus that already well-known as one of beautiful campus, especially for architecture student. Yap, I recognize Ewha Womans University first time when I watch one of variety show, and gasped with one of their building. And I became more mesmerized when arrived there. Plants around modern building for student center started to change their colors, gives the beauty of campus landscape. Moreover, the old building surrounding that area, peek behind yellow-green big trees.
Another camus option you can visit is Yonsei University. Still same with ewha, they have old style (colonial) building with clorful plants for their landscape in autumn.

That's all some recommended place to witnessing colorful autumn in Korea from me. Enjoy your travel~!

Gimje Horizon(Jipyongsun) Festival 2018
Where You Can Enjoy the Best of Korea’s Autumn
Did you know that there are more than 260 festivals in October? That is why this month is called the month of festivals in Korea. The second week of October, there were, of course, various festivals held throughout Korea. Today, one of the biggest festivals in Korea will be introduced! It’s called the Gimje Horizon Festival! Even though this festival has ended on 9th of October, free entrance is available from 10th(Wed) to 15th(Mon) of October so if you have a time, I highly recommend you to visit there! With me, let’s have a look at what was happening during the festival!
The Great Earth Art, a painting on the rice fields is surely the mascot of the Gimje Horizon Festival. It's a wonderful painting that attracts a lot of people and keeps them interested in guessing the next year’s design since the festival comes with a different design on the rice field every year.
The reason why this festival is so famous is that it has a number of activities you can enjoy with people. As foreigners and locals can enjoy together, it gave the image of a global festival beyond Korea. There are so many activities if you look at pictures, aren’t there?

Unfortunately, this year's festival has already ended, but since there are many pretty photo zones, it would be great to go and enjoy it during the free viewing date. I hope you don't forget to take a picture with the giant pair of dragon statues because it is a must-have photo zone!

Address : 242-2 Sinyong-ri, Buryang-myeon, Gimje, Jeollabuk-do

Tip. 1
If you are a fan of BTS(방탄소년단), I highly recommend you go to go Saemanguem where one of the biggest hit music called ‘SAVE ME’ was filmed. A lot of BTS’s fanboys and girls visit here before or after going to Gimje Horizon Festival since both the places are conveniently located to visit. On the left side of the photo zone, there is a 50-inch big monitor that shows ‘SHOW ME’ whenever it senses a person in front of it.
